On March 6, the director of Nanchang Railway Bureau came to project site of Pingtan Rail-cum-road Seacrossing Bridge for research accompanying with Mr. Zong Deming, Chairman of the Board for Fujina-Pingtan Railway Company, and Mr. Liu Ziming, General Manager of MBEC.

Mr. Liu Ziming briefed the introduction of the basic information, construction difficulties, technical assurance measures etc. He said that the development and building of Fujian-Pingtan Railway Line played a great role in the economic development and reform and showed a pioneering sense to the whole Fujina Province. Thanks to the caring and attention from the Fujian Authority, the project had been developed well and contractor would like to invite the leaders from the provinces and municipalities to visit the project site for supervision.

Mr.Liu Zhenfang pointed out that the Pingtan Seacrossing Rail-cum-road bridge has quite extensive construction activities, in terms of not only the bridge span but also building environment, geological conditions, natural conditions etc. MBEC is the pioneering building beam in bridge industry of China Railway Works and the perfect awarded company of the Employer. He expressed hope that MBEC would accumulate valuable construction experience and create more excellent scientific results by means of engineering building and technical innovation. He requested MBEC to build and complete the construction of Pingtan Seacrossing Rail-cum-road bridge as per planned programme and ensure the on-time completing of the project works.
