At noon on August 23, after one hour and 30 minutes of rotation, the last continuous girder of the Wuhan-Dawu expressway cross-railway overpass was successfully docked in place, and after six rotations, the project finally achieved two-way connectivity.

According to the contractor MBEC, Wuhan-Dawu high-speed cross-railway overpass across the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway up and down passenger lines and freight lines, Wuhan North Grouping Station, Newport upstream line and other nine existing railroad business lines. In order to reduce the impact on the existing railroad business lines, the project departments first parallel to the railroad for girder construction, and then carry out the construction of the bridge to complete the construction of the bridge together. The project has been divided into six times to complete the left and right lines of the main bridge together, which is also the first time in China to use this construction method.

According to reports, the Wuhan-Dawu expressway project is Hubei Province, "nine vertical and five horizontal three ring" expressway layout identified key construction projects, after completion will further open up the northern artery of Wuhan, strengthen the traffic links with Wuhan city circle along the route.
